Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics is the first journal of
macromolecular science. It was founded in 1943 by Hermann Staudinger who
received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1952 for his pioneering work in proving
the existence of macromolecules. The journal publishes results of basic research
in chemistry and physics of macromolecules, including biopolymers and advanced
macromolecular materials as original research papers and feature articles.
